Nigerian actress, film producer, and director Regina Chukwu was born in Lagos on March 23, 1980. She went to Alimosho Grammar School as a child for her secondary school. She subsequently gained admission to the prestigious Lagos State Polytechnic. She pursued her studies there and graduated with a diploma in business administration.

In 2003, Regina entered the film industry. She got her start doing makeup for movie costumes. She began appearing in films later on. Due to her skill at interpreting movie parts, Regina became well-known. Despite being of Igbo descent, she has acted in more Yoruba films than Igbo ones.
