Angela Yee, a radio host from the United States, was born on January 3, 1976. Along with Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and others, she hosted the nationally broadcast morning program The Breakfast Club. She is on the We Are Family Foundation’s Board of Governors and the American Foundation for the University of the West Indies Board of Governors. Also, she is the first-ever ambassador for the network of the New York Public Library. She has been the BSE Global Ambassador for Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement since 2019. Yee and her co-hosts of the Breakfast Club, DJ Envy and Charlamagne The God, were inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in August 2020.

She hosted two programs on Shade 45, Eminem’s Sirius Satellite Radio channel, called Lip Service, and The Morning After with Angela Yee. As the co-host of The Cipha Sounds Effect, she began her radio career in 2005 at Sirius. Yee assumed full-time hosting duties when Cipha Sounds left Sirius in July 2008, changing the program’s name to the Shade 45 Morning Show Starring Angela Yee before it was officially titled The Morning After with Angela Yee. With DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God as co-hosts, Yee left Shade 45 in December 2010 to anchor The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1.
Yee received the Gracie Award in 2019 for her work on The Breakfast Club, a national radio distinction from the Association for Women in Media. In August 2020, Yee and her Breakfast Club co-host, DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God were inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame.
