On 25 October 1985, Ciara Princess Harris, the only child of Jackie and Carlton Clay Harris, was born in Fort Hood, Texas. She was an army brat raised in Nevada, California, Arizona, Utah, Georgia, and New York. She was given her name after Revlon’s 1973 launch of the Ciara fragrance.
