Rapper and singer Coi Leray Collins was born in the United States on May 11, 1997. In 2018, she started sharing songs on SoundCloud and published her debut mixtape Everythingcoz and the track “Huddy.” Leray’s second mixtape, EC2, and her debut extended play, Now or Never, were published in 2019 following the signing of a record deal with 1801 Records and Republic Records (2020).

The remix of her hit, “No More Parties,” featuring Lil Durk, peaked at number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2021 and was given a platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Leray’s debut album Trendsetter, published in 2022, gave rise to the track “Blick Blick,” which she co-wrote with Nicki Minaj and debuted in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. In addition, Leray’s song “Players” peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023, becoming her highest-charting song ever.
