Before signing with Amigo and Republic Records in 2021, she released songs as an independent artist between 2016 and 2020 under her own imprint, BunHead Records. Petras started making music while she was a teenager, and in 2011, she released her debut extended play, One Piece of Tape. In 2017, she independently published “I Don’t Want It at All,” her debut international track, which went on to dominate various Spotify viral music charts.
