Kizz Daniel Biography
Born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, the Abeokuta native demonstrated musical talent throughout his youth, but he didn’t start his music career until after graduating from university in 2013. The 2014 single “Woju,” which received a nomination for Hottest Single at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards the following year, was Daniel’s first national radio smash and showcased his warm, effervescent pop. Under the stage name Kiss Daniel, he was signed by G-Worldwide Entertainment. His debut single, “Shoye,” was released in May 2014; however, it wasn’t until his second single, “Woju,” that he gained widespread recognition.
The song quickly gave rise to a well-received remix with Tiwa Savage and Davido. Daniel released his full-length debut, New Era, via G-Worldwide in May 2016 following the release of another popular song, “Mama.” On the Billboard World Album Chart, it debuted at position eight. Before turning independent and releasing his second album, No Bad Songz, on his own Flyboy Inc label in 2018, he first performed as Kiss Daniel before changing his name to Kizz Daniel.
