DeMario DeWayne White Jr., Professionally called Moneybagg Yo, is an American rapper and songwriter. He is signed to Yo Gotti’s (his fellow Memphis rapper) record label, Collective Music Group (CMG), in a joint venture deal with Interscope Records. Between 2017 and 2018, Moneybagg Yo debuted his first two projects, “Federal 3X” and “2 Heartless,” in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 (at numbers 5 and 16, respectively). His third studio album, “Time Served,” released in 2020, charted higher at number three on the Billboard 200. His fourth project, “A Gangsta’s Pain,” released in April 2021, became his first to top the chart.
In 2016, Moneybagg Yo won a Memphis Hip Hop Award for Mixtape of the Year for one of several mixtapes he released that year.
