Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr. Eazi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and Entrepreneur. He is known to be the pioneer of the record label Banku Music which is a fusion of Ghanaian Highlife with elements of Nigerian Afro Beats music. Eazi started his career in Kumasi, Ghana, booking artists to perform at his then-college parties.
Mr. Eazi began recording music after recording a guest verse on the song “My Life,” which gained attention and became very popular in school (KNUST). He dropped his first mixtape, “About To Blow,” in 2013 and attained mainstream recognition with the release of his first big hit, “Skin Tight,” featuring Efya. Mr. Eazi is also known for several other musical projects, including “Life Is Eazi – Vol 1, Accra To Lagos”, and more.
His music has been described as being RnB-like but majorly Afro Beats. It is also said to be reminiscent of artists such as Beres Hammond and Gregory Isaacs. Mr. Eazi performed at the 2019 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival.
