Who Is Marilyn Manson?

Marilyn Manson Biography

Marilyn Manson, real name Brian Hugh Warner was born on January 5, 1969, in Canton, Ohio, to Barbara Warner Wyer (who passed away on May 13, 2014) and Hugh Angus Warner (died July 7, 2017). He is descended from English, German, and Irish ancestors. He has also claimed that his mother, whose family hailed from West Virginia’s Appalachian Mountains, was of Sioux descent.

Warner grew up attending his mother’s Episcopal church, despite the fact that his father was a Roman Catholic. From first to tenth grade, he attended Heritage Christian School. His teachers tried to demonstrate the students what music they weren’t supposed to listen to at that school, but Warner fell in love with what he “wasn’t supposed to do.”

Warner then proceeded to GlenOak High School, where he received his diploma in 1987. In 1990, he enrolled at Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after migrating with his parents. He was pursuing a journalism degree and acquiring expertise in the profession by contributing articles to the music publication 25th Parallel.

He also conducted interviews with musicians and met a number of those to whom his work was later compared, including Groovie Mann of My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, the latter of whom ultimately became his mentor and produced his debut album.

Marilyn Manson wife

Lindsay Usich, 36, is Marilyn Manson’s wife and a photographer. In a 2012 Revolver profile, Usich’s friendship with Manson was first revealed—Manson is an avid painter, and the writer noticed an incomplete portrait of Usich in his apartment.

Usich was in charge of photographing the cover art for Manson’s 2012 album Born Villain, but she’s also established her worth on her own. Her spooky images were first published in Dazed in 2011, when she was a 26-year-old New Yorker.

Flaunt also disclosed in 2020 that she is working on a signature perfume and a capsule collection for the Los Angeles clothing company Cete. Ashley, her twin sister, is married to James Iha of the Smashing Pumpkins and runs the latter.

Marilyn Manson documentary

Actress Evan Rachel Wood began dating shock musician Marilyn Manson in the early 2000s (born Brian Warner). In 2016, Wood began to speak out about the alleged abuse she suffered as a result of the relationship. That history will be explored in a new two-part documentary, Phoenix Rising, directed by Amy Berg and due to premiere on HBO on March 15 and 16.

Interviews with Wood and her family describe the scope of her relationship with Manson, which began while she was feeling lost, according to the film, which also discusses her parents’ rocky marriage and her own trip to Los Angeles to start her career. Manson preyed on this, according to Wood, from “grooming” to isolation.

Marilyn Manson & Johnny Depp friendship

Since Manson made an appearance as an extra in Depp’s 1987 sitcom 21 Jump Street, the two have been close pals. Since then, the two have made numerous public appearances together, with Manson attending many of Depp’s film premieres and Depp performing at Manson’s gigs on guitar. They’ve also participated in some weird things together.

Manson previously stated that he swapped Depp his prosthetic breasts from his Mechanical Beasts album in exchange for Depp’s wig from the film Blow, and the two have matching tattoos. It’s unknown where the two stars’ friendship now stands, seeing as Manson’s name was brought up several times in court to highlight Depp’s drug use.
