Yinka Ayefele Biography
Yinka Ayefele is a Nigerian singer and record producer born in Ekiti state.
His life was radically altered in 1997 following a ghastly accident that shattered his spinal cord and confined him to a wheelchair.
It started like a joke, and he even thought he would be fine soon enough and able to use his legs again. But that didn’t prove correct. He remained confined to a wheelchair.
To his credit, he had the strength of spirit not to let his accident limit him. The same year he had the accident, he also began his singing career in earnest. His dedication has since paid off, as he is today one of the wealthiest musicians in Nigeria, with interest in many sectors, including real estate and media.
Yinka Ayefele’s family comprises his wife Temitope, himself, and his triplets.
Not much is known about Yinka Ayefele’s mother, but his father is Joshua Taiwo Ayefele.
Yinka Ayefele has a younger brother in Olaolu Ayefele, a singer and radio presenter.
Yinka Ayefele is father to miracle babies — triplets that were born prematurely. He initially had to deny the news of their birth because he feared they would not make it.
Yinka Ayefele’s wife is no other than Temitope. The couple has been together for over two decades and has weathered many storms together, culminating in miracle triplets in 2019.
Yinka Ayele might be a wheelchair user but still rolls around in some of the choicest cars. As the saying goes, he lives well.
He might not be caught dead speaking about his net worth, but Yinka Ayefele is a wealthy man by Nigerian standards, with a personal fortune of about $5 million.
He might no longer be able to drive himself around, but that has not erased Yinka Ayefele’s love for good rides. He is said to own a Mercedes and other brands.
Yinka Ayefele has not one but several houses. Years ago, his music house was pulled down by the Oyo State Government under Ajimobi. The edifice was later rebuilt by the same government.
An accident is something no one would like to have. But life happens, and people find themselves victims of accidents. That’s the case with singer Yinka Ayefele, who had an accident with a devastating impact on his spinal cord in 1997. He has been wheelchair-bound ever since.
