2023 General Elections: Tinubu Affirms Naira Hoarding, Fuel Scarcity Won’t Stop His Victory

The All Progressives Congress’ Bola Tinubu, who is running for president, has attributed the country’s continuing petrol shortage and fuel prices to some saboteurs’ actions.

During the presidential campaign, Tinubu addressed the crowd at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Wednesday.

In recent weeks, the price of fuel at the pump has increased, ranging from N270 to N400 per liter, to the chagrin of many Nigerians.

The flag bearer, who addressed the crowd in Yoruba, claimed that some individuals were actively attempting to sabotage the next elections.

Tinubu, who withheld the identities of those responsible for the shortage, also charged those same individuals with hoarding the currency to thwart the upcoming elections.

Despite the hardships, he implored the populace to vote for him despite the fuel shortage and gas prices increase.

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, the first national chairman of the APC, Bisi Akande, and the Deputy Director of the APC Campaign Organization, Adams Oshiomhole, among others, were standing beside Tinubu, who declared that the APC would win the election.

In his speech, the presidential candidate, who had made a bogus claim that it was his turn to be president, took a slight digg at his opponents, especially the PDP. However, he urged the people to vote for him and ignore the PDP and their candidate.
