Buhari Waves To An Empty Stadium During APC’s Campaign In His Home State Of Katsina

The stadium was deserted when the President and APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu staged their massive rally in Katsina State on Monday. Since the rally was held in the President’s home state, many anticipated a large audience, but it was a disaster.

The APC presidential candidate promised the few attendees at the gathering that if he wins the upcoming general elections, he will destroy and eradicate terrorism. He also told the Katsina electorate that he was prepared to assist the children and widows of terrorist attack victims around the nation. Tinubu made this statement in the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari, where he met locals who were lamenting the deaths of more than 100 citizens slain by terrorists in the previous four days.

Additionally, he expressed sympathy for the victims and their families and pledged to take the terrorists head-on. The President commended the APC campaign team’s four-hour wait for the Katsina supporters and urged them to mobilize their relatives to vote for the party to maintain continuity. He claimed that despite the collapse in oil prices in the global oil market, his administration had done well since taking office in 2015.

Buhari, however, expressed sympathy to the victims’ relatives and urged people to report criminal activity to the security services immediately to implement appropriate action.
