DJ Switch Criticizes Pastor Adeboye For Supporting Tinubu Amidst Post-Election Controversies
Obianuju Catherine Udeh, also known as DJ Switch, a Nigerian disc jockey, has criticized Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, the RCCG, for saying that God can use Bola Tinubu, the President-Elect, to fix the nation. According to media reports, Adeboye said that Nigeria would grow under Tinubu’s leadership at the monthly thanksgiving service held at the RCCG Headquarters in Ebute-Metta, through the person of his Special Assistant, Pastor Dele Balogun.
This comes after the electoral process witnessed significant hiccups, and Tinubu emerged victorious despite glaring controversies and ethnic bigotry that were the themes of the electoral processes across the nation, especially in the Presidential Elections.
DJ Switch responded on Monday via her Twitter account, saying that Pastor Adeboye, who had been silent throughout the atrocities perpetrated against Nigerians by his “best friends” in the government’s All Progressives Congress, APC, has finally found his voice and is pleading with God to assist Tinubu in fixing Nigeria.
She claimed that the preacher and his allies would one day reveal the “god” they perpetually speak of to Nigerians. She wrote,
“Daddy Adeboye seems to have found the voice he lost when Nigerians were suffering suppression and violence from his best friends in the APC! Now god wants to help Tinubu fix Nigeria? One day, una go show us the particular god wey una dey refer to! Know for yourself!”

It’s important to note that DJ Switch attracted attention for her activism during the #EndSARS demonstrations in Nigeria, where she used her platform to record and broadcast live footage of the protests. As a result, she became a voice for the young people of Nigeria and a sign of hope for the future because of her bravery and activity during that period.
