LP’s GRV Makes Surprising Appearance At DJ Obi’s Party

After being observed at the renowned “Obi’s House” in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vibour, better known by his moniker GRV, who is running for governor of Lagos under the Labour Party, has shown that he appreciates entertainment as well. The governorship contender and his campaign team attended Lagos’s biggest Monday celebration(Party).

The 40-year-old architect made a surprise appearance at the hive-of-activity party in Lagos. The architect has gathered a lot of popularity ahead of the Lagos state governorship election scheduled for March 18, 2023.

GRV has emerged as one of the front-runners in the race for the governorship of Lagos State, alongside Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor) of the PDP and incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu (APC). By attending the event and seeing how he was received, GRV demonstrated his popularity among young people.

The governorship aspirant was seen mingling at the party while sporting his signature all-white kaftan in videos that have gone popular online. Eventually, he solicited support while DJ Obi, the event’s presenter, stood beside him.

This is coming at the back of his Arise Tv interview, where he spoke extensively on his plans for Lagos and revealed other worrisome information.

The Labour Party’s candidate for governor in Lagos State’s March 18 elections, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, claims to have received death threats and been the target of assassination attempts. This was revealed by the LP Lagos candidate while appearing on an Arise Television political program. The politician from Lagos claimed that last Saturday, a group of gunmen, allegedly political thugs attacked several of his allies in the state’s Epe Local Government Area.

Following the results of the presidential elections on February 25, Nigeria will hold its governorship and state house of assembly elections on March 18. The outcome of Lagos state, amongst others, will be one of the elections that many will watch with interest.
