Tinubu-Obi Conversation: Peter Okoye Slammed By Portable For Insulting Fela’s Family

The controversial entertainer Habeeb “Portable” Okikiola has chosen a side in the most recent internet altercation between Seun Kuti and Peter Okoye. Portable criticized Peter on his Instagram page on Wednesday for “insulting Fela’s family,” according to Portable.

The Labour Party’s Peter Obi was referred to as an “opportunist” by Seun Kuti, the Afrobeats singer and son of Fela, who started it all. This infuriated Peter, who responded angrily, naming Seun Kuti and bringing the Kuti family—including Fela and his nephew Made—into the argument.

Portable accused Peter of insulting Fela’s family, who was visibly upset with Peter and how he handled the incident. He expressed his dismay at the circumstance, pointing out that Peter’s own family is still alive, but he still decided to tarnish Fela and his family’s reputation. He also pointed out that Fela’s family is no longer in the spotlight and does not deserve to be included in such acrimonious online arguments.

Finally, it is evident that Portable sided with Seun Kuti in this online altercation. He told him that Fela and his family were no longer in the public glare and conveyed his dismay at Peter’s remarks.

He said, “I go by name, portable of Africa, Anikuleti, Young Fela. Ogun kill you, You say wetin. I hear say you dey insult Fela Kuti, You wey be say you and your family still dey alive and una no still blow”.
