Fans of the well-known entertainer Yhemolee appear to be furious with him after he explained in a recent interview how Asake, the up-and-coming musician, got into the university.

According to Yhemolee on the “Tea With Tay” Podcast, Asake moved directly from the hinterland of Lagos Island to the university.

He said that the YBNL signee never sat an exam to enter Obafemi Awolowo University; instead, a man by the name of Lala, who is currently acting in Nollywood, brought Asake into the university.

He claimed that Asake eventually became a student due to his drum skill and that Lala was enrolled in the “Performing Arts” department.

Netizens criticized Yhemolee in response to the revelation; some claimed he was jealous of Asake, and others claimed he talked too much.

Actor, event host, nightlife enthusiast, and content producer Yhemolee attended Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).

In the podcast, He noted that he had long-standing energy and excitement for acting, which he demonstrated in the soon-to-be-released movie “Gangs of Lagos,” in which he portrayed Muri Toronto alongside Nollywood heavyweights like Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Tobi Bakre, and others.

Then, because he appreciates music, Yhemolee said that while making a film takes two months of devotion, music is a flexible employment for him. Yhemolee views himself as open to new possibilities and says music has always been a part of who he is hence his association with many musicians.
