One of the recently booted contestants on Big Brother Naija All Stars, Omashola Oburoh, clarified his request to Big Brother while still inside the house. The housemate approached Big Brother before he was kicked out to request financial support for his impending wedding. Some of the housemates questioned his ability to make such an appeal to Big Brother. Fans were sceptical about whether Big Brother would grant Omashola’s request, considering that the show is primarily a competition and not a platform for personal financial assistance. However, Omashola explained that he saw it as an opportunity to seek help from a platform with a broad audience and potentially gain support from viewers who might be willing to contribute towards his wedding expenses.

Reality TV personality Omashola Oburoh claimed that when he asked Big Brother for cash assistance while participating in the reality show, he wasn’t joking. Additionally, he pleaded for a private journal meeting to discuss the required sum and the best way to reimburse the money.

After being booted off the reality show, he spoke about this in an interview given to Pulse News. Oburoh acknowledged that Big Brother could grant his wish in a video that the media saw. He continued by saying that when Big Brother does provide money to people, he does so liberally. He talked about how an unnamed star had recently received a substantial sum from Big Brother. Additionally, Oburoh admitted to the interviewer that given how Big Brother distributes money, he might be wealthier than Aliko Dangote. To ensure that it met his expectations, he continued by saying that he would not provide any information to Big Brother.
