Brymo, a Nigerian singer, has remarked that it is disrespectful to the renowned music artist Fela Anikulapo since younger generation artistes such as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are establishing new genres within the Afrobeat genre that he pioneered. Brymo revealed this while appearing as a guest on TVC in an interview with an on-air personality.

According to him, it is insulting to the late great music singer and Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo, for younger generation artists to strive to build new styles in the music genre he worked so hard to create. Many viewers of the video, however, have flocked to the post’s comment area to respond to Brymo’s statement.

He also addressed the claim that he demanded to have an affair with music diva Simi before they could collaborate. When the report of Brymo making such a demand from Simi went viral months ago, Adekunle Gold, a musician who is married to the female singer, cautioned Brymo to keep away from his wife.

Brymo’s response to Maskill’s question on Twitter about why he wasn’t included on Adekunle’s anticipated album “Tequila Ever After” was the catalyst for the entire situation. In response to Maskill’s inquiry about why he wasn’t included on the new album, the Ara singer stated that Adekunle and his wife, Simi, had previously contacted him about possible features, but he had turned them down.
