Johnny Drille Explains Why Rema Doesn’t Get His Flowers From Nigerians

Johnny Drille, one of Nigeria’s finest singers, has recently stated that his fellow colleague and record label mate, Rema, does not receive enough credit or praise for his outstanding achievements and growing impact on the music industry, locally and globally.

Despite all of Rema’s musical exploits at a young age, the “Believe Me” singer put the blame on prejudice. In a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Johnny Drille first stated that he did not want to raise any controversy before getting started on the Rema subject.

Drille stated that if it were to be one of the already big artists, fans and everyone will have it on the tips of their tongues, singing and reciting their accomplishments everywhere, especially on socials. Speaking further, Johnny Drille spoke with conviction about what the greatness that lies ahead for the Rave Lorde.

While conveying his thoughts, Drille led by example by giving Rema his flowers, giving him props for sold-out shows all over the world. He also praised his Billboard chart exploits achieved through his smash hit, “Calm Down,” which featured the adored actress and singer, Selena Gomez.

Still stressing on giving honor to whom honor is due, Drille said it would be great if Nigerians truly started appreciating Rema because he is only getting started.
