Julio Iglesias And Netflix Partner To Produce A Series About The Life Of The Iconic Singer
Legendary Spanish singer, Julio Iglesias, has teamed up with Netflix to create a series about his life and career.
Iglesias, who is 80 years old, will be fully involved in the project’s creation for the first time, and he has promised to “share everything about his life and incredible musical trajectory,” according to a press statement.
Presently under development, the series aims to chronicle Julio Iglesias’ journey from being the first non-English musician to break into the American and Asian markets to becoming a global phenomenon and one of the top five record sellers in history.
Over the course of his more than 55-year artistic career, Julio Iglesias has recorded and performed in twelve different languages, connecting with fans worldwide and becoming the first Spanish musician whose songs are performed all over the world.
Before an injury put an end to his playing career, Iglesias began his singing career in the Real Madrid youth ranks. After that, Iglesias switched to music, and he quickly rose to the top of the record sales charts in the industry.
Being a worldwide sensation, Iglesias has released music in the greatest number of languages and has been named the most well-liked foreign performer in China, Brazil, France, Italy, and other countries. 2019 saw him get the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammys.
