Qing Madi Receives Her First International Nomination At IRAWMA 2024

The 2024 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) have granted Nigerian artist Qing Madi their first-ever nomination.

An entry for the 41st Annual International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) has been made for Qing Madi. Her initial nomination from outside would be this one. Under the 13–19 year old category, Qing Madi has received a nomination.

The artist, who is 17 years old, encouraged her admirers to vote for her on social media as she celebrated the happy event. Along with Kairo McLean, DJ Switch, Pablo YG, and many more outstanding teenage vocalists, Qing Madi is up against them. In 39 categories, there are 150 nominees.

At the Lauderhill Performing Art Center (LPAC), in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 22, 2024, there will be an IRAWMA. With her distinct, genre-bending combination of afrobeats, pop, soul, and R&B, multi-talented singer, composer, and entertainer Qing Madi—whose name translates as “powerful, feminine” (Qing) and “heaven” (Madi)—is influencing the direction of Afrobeats music.

The Nigerian artist began her career at the age of seven and has about ten years of experience under her belt. She is a master of her craft. Inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s lyrical compositions and overall artistic vision, Qing Madi hopes to use her unique style of brilliance to permanently alter the course of the business.
