“It is the satisfaction and completeness you gain by simply living a life that is yours. Few is a small number, but few is not lonely,” he continued. “In the face of all adversity, a few good things is recognizing and accepting blessings. Few is to count them, one by one – an empty glass is full of air, an empty bank is full of lessons., and an empty heart is full of memories. Few good things is to grow comfortable with the empty, and despite that, finding your fullness.”

Editor’s Note:

“I’ve never made a record that sounded anything like this,” Saba said in a statement that accompanied the announcement of his follow-up to 2018’s CARE FOR ME. “And part of the fun of releasing music is to create worlds sonically, and have people trust you to show them around your own imagination.” On lead single “fearmonger,” the Chicago rapper reunites with Daoud for a slightly psychedelic look at fear “as it relates to money in the Black household—a fear that I am still currently working through,” he says. Elsewhere, on “Come My Way,” he pays tribute to the sumptuous melodies and double-time flows of fellow Midwesterners (and childhood inspiration) Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, whose very own Krayzie Bone makes a guest appearance.
