He represents the England national team and Premier League club Arsenal as a right winger and is recognized as an English professional football player. Saka is regarded as one of the best young footballers in the world and is well renowned for his attacking incisiveness and creativity.

Parents

Yomi and Adenike Saka, his parents, came to London as economic migrants from Nigeria. In a conversation, Saka emphasized the contribution of his father, Yomi, to his football career: “I find a lot of motivation in him. He has always kept me grounded and humble since I was a child.”

His father has a business in Harling, England. His mother, Adenike Saka, is a Chartered Accountant in the UK and holds a Certificate in Accounting from the University of West London. She is a Telefonica’s UK Smart Metering and Implementation Program member and works for O2 as a Project Accountant-SMIP.

Lifestyle

Bukayo Saka is more recognized for his inventiveness and cutting-edge attacking style while playing football. He is one of the world’s top youth football players. He rose through the Arsenal’s Youth Program, and Academy ranks to become one of the team’s most important players. He has helped the club win the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield, and if they finish the current 22–23 season on top of the standings, they will win the EPL. He was additionally awarded Arsenal’s player of the year in 2020, 2021, and 2022. In addition, Bukayo Saka has played in 27 youth matches for England and has six goals to his credit. He competed for his country at the under-16,17,18, and 21 levels.

Kieran Trippier was replaced by Saka in the competition final on 11 July against Italy. After the end of regulation time and extra time, Saka was selected to take the team’s fifth penalty in the ensuing shootout, marking his first senior-level penalty kick. Italy won the shootout and the tournament because goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma stopped Saka’s attempt. After missing the penalty, Saka encountered online racial harassment.

In a post on Instagram on 15 July, Saka stated that he “knew the kind of hate instantly” he would see once his penalty was lost. Saka continued, “… and that is a sad fact that your powerful platforms are not doing much to stop these messages.”

Thierry Henry is his all-time favorite football player. Even when he scores, he mimics his famous goal celebrations. He had acknowledged Alexis Sanchez as an influence, noting that he wanted to copy Sánchez’s boots when he was an academy player. However, Saka listed David Luiz as one of his former colleagues who most aided him throughout his career, adding “he went out of his way” to assist many Arsenal young players “on and off the field.”

Saka earned the Men’s Young Player of the Year honor at the 2023 London Football Awards on 13 March 2023.
