Actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande was born in Nigeria on October 14, 1978, as Dakore Omobola Egbuson. As the first child of her parents, Dakore was born in the state of Bayelsa. In Lagos and Bauchi, respectively, she went to Federal Government Girls’ College and Corona School. She was a mass communication student at the University of Lagos but had to leave because of ongoing strikes. She represents Amnesty International, Amstel Malta, and Oxfam America as an ambassador.
