American rapper Blueface, real name Jonathan Jamall Porter, was born on January 20, 1997. Due to his unconventional rhyming style, he went popular in October 2018 after releasing the music video for his song “Respect My Cryppin.” The West Coast division of Birdman’s Cash Money Records label, Cash Money West, signed him the following month.

He had his biggest hit to date in 2019, when a remix of his song “Thotiana” with Cardi B and YG peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
