Adekunle Gold Speaks On Family; Says He Wants To Give His Daughter The Life He Never Had

Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko, better known as Adekunle Gold, is a prominent Nigerian singer. He has said that he works extremely hard because he doesn’t want his daughter Adejare to experience the same upbringing that he did.

To raise enough money for his child’s education and other expenses, AG Baby, as he is affectionately known, stated that he is releasing numerous songs and projects. He revealed this during a recent conversation with well-known YouTuber Tayo Aina. Adekunle Gold emphasized that his determination to provide a better life for his daughter fuels his relentless work ethic. He expressed his desire to create a legacy of financial stability and opportunities for Adejare, ensuring that she has every advantage he didn’t have growing up.

He said his family is the “centre” of his life. Adekunle Gold said,

“Being a father is a huge responsibility that I love by the way. Knowing that I have a huge responsibility to raise a queen. You know, my family is my centre. Anywhere they are is my happy place.

“That is one of the reasons I’m hustling hard. Because this girl, the life that I lived growing up, she can’t do the same. That’s why I’m dropping school fees’ music for you people.”

He claimed that having a spouse, Simi, an artist, has made his life understandably simpler because he doesn’t have to explain his busy schedule constantly. Simi and Adekunle Gold wed in January 2019 after a five-year relationship. Adejare, alias Dej, the couple’s daughter, was born in May 2020.
