Are Tyler The Creator And Lana Del Rey Really Among Coachella 2024 Headliners?

HITS Daily Double, a reliable music industry trade publication, recently reported that Lana Del Rey and Tyler, the Creator, are highly anticipated to be two of this year’s headliners at the Coachella Festival. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation, the report suggests that the two artists have been confirmed to headline the event. Doja Cat is also reported as one of the headliners, but the news has yet to be confirmed.

Lana Del Rey’s performance at last year’s Glastonbury was cut short due to her arriving on stage 30 minutes late, which exceeded the festival’s strict curfew. Organizers had to cut off her microphone and screens while she was midway through performing “White Mustang,” which was met with boos from the audience. Last year’s Coachella Festival saw Bad Bunny, Blackpink, and Frank Ocean as the headliners for the two weekends. Following Ocean’s controversial set and his eventual dropping out of weekend two, Skrillex, Fred again, and Four Tet replaced him to play the closing set.

The Coachella Festival is one of the most famous music festivals in the world. It is scheduled to take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, across the weekends of April 12–14 and April 19–21. The festival’s organizers confirmed these dates in June 2021. Initially, Rage Against the Machine was in talks to headline the event, but the band’s drummer, Brad Wilk, announced earlier this month that they wouldn’t be touring or playing live again. Other notable artists considered during the booking process include Dua Lipa, Shakira, The Rolling Stones, Olivia Rodrigo, and Travis Scott. Fans will anticipate an official release confirming which of their faves will headline the 2024 edition of the famed festival.
