CKay Unveils The Visuals For ‘Is It You?’; A Romantic Story About Love And Friendship

After much anticipation, Nigerian music sensation CKay has finally released the official video for his highly awaited song, “IS IT YOU?”

CKay took some time to reflect, and the 2-pack captures his quest for love. Though ‘MYSTERIOUS LOVE’ depicts CKay’s search for true love in all its manifestations, ‘IS IT YOU?’ digs more into the artist’s feelings. The original music video, which was co-directed by Olajide Alabi and directed by Edgar Esteves, takes place in the charming location of Paradiso and follows a group of optimistic singles as they search for love.

Taking cues from the classic movie “Coming to America,” CKay meets a number of potential suitors who don’t quite work out until he lays eyes on the right person. Africa’s Boyfriend has been keeping up the promotion for the release in South Africa and Nigeria.

“Is It You?,” has the itch to scratch and the makings of a club sleeper hit that builds gradually into a full-on dance floor invasion. CKay continues to use amapiano, but in a catchier, more frantic style. He is obsessed with the idea of love and is looking for a person he can call his own.

Furthermore, the singer just revealed on Instagram that he will soon be visiting London, where he will host a private fan concert. This Valentine’s Day, February 14, the event will be hosted by well-known UK media personality Mimi The Music Blogger.
