Common Hints At An Upcoming Music Collaboration With Girlfriend Jennifer Hudson

Common has disclosed that he will be releasing new music soon. Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson, who is also his new girlfriend, might appear on a few of the songs.

On Wednesday, January 24, the rap veteran sat down for an interview with Hot 97. The rapper for Like Water for Chocolate hinted that they might be brewing some new heat shortly after telling presenter Ebro the tale of how he first met Hudson.

In a charming moment on Hudson’s daytime talk show, Common and Jennifer Hudson announced their relationship. In a preview video for the January 22nd episode, the Chicago rapper shows up as a guest and gives Hudson flowers.

Following their collaboration on a film project, there were initial rumors in January of last year that the two were dating. Despite having been spotted on vacation with Common, she did not identify her partner when she later acknowledged being in a relationship in an interview with Gayle King.

In reference to Jada Pinkett Smith’s extramarital romance with August Alsina, Hudson stated that her new relationship was “not an entanglement.” The couple has since been frequently spotted together, occasionally holding hands.

They were together to attend the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks basketball game at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles as recently as January 17.
