Davido Reacts To Mayorkun’s Latest Song, ‘Lowkey’
Afrobeats Super-artist Davido has reacted on social media to the release of Mayorkun’s single, “Lowkey,” which is his former DMW signee’s lastest release. After a brief hiatus of more than four months, award-winning singer and performer Mayorkun returned to the music scene with a new song called ‘Lowkey’ and it’s a notable comeback. This is his second single of 2023, after ‘For Daddy,’ and it has already sparked reactions from fans of the genre as well as celebrities, including Davido.
David posted the image of himself listening to the song on social media along with the message, “New @Mayorkun.” It has been revealed that the “Mayor Of Lagos” will be playing as a guest artist at David’s A.W.A.Y festival in 2023, so this is not the first time the two have shown their love, respect, and support for one another. On June 4, 2023, Mayorkun gave a concert at the Koko in London, and Davido was also present on stage. The 30 BG leader has been active and posting on social media lately, and even recently expressed his opinions about a picture of him and his wife Chioma in the hospital, announcing the arrival of their new kids, even though official confirmations have not been given by the star yet.
