DJ Tunez & Portable Drop Their “Banga”

Before eventually releasing the collaboration with Portable on digital platforms Wednesday midnight, DJ Tunez, the official DJ of Grammy Award-winning Nigerian musician Wizkid, had been teasing it for a few weeks (February 22). The song “Banga” is Portable and DJ Tunez’s first-ever joint effort. Portable takes his street vibes and flows to “Banga,” a well-balanced composition like he’s never done before. The new single, released under BT Music Worldwide, was produced by Tunez, Smeez, and D3an.

After Portable worked with dancer and hypeman Poco Lee and OG rapper Olamide on one of the biggest street-hop songs of this decade, Portable became a wanted act for street bangers. So, it’s only destined that, one day, Tunez and Zazzu would join forces to produce a hit. Even before Tunez announced the new single, Zazzu had already started singing the praises of Tunez on his IG Live, which gave the collaboration away and helped with ingenious PR work.

The hype grew the anticipation of the record, and with this, there might be more Tunez and Zazzu or Zazzu and Big Wiz. Impossible has gone extinct these days. Of course, this would reverberate in the streets and clubs. This one is for party people, but even if that’s not you, the new tune is entertaining and can be enjoyed by the indoor geng.
