DJ Tunez Releases A Snippet From An Unreleased Song With Wizkid
All signs point to 2023 being a busy year for afrobeats, as some of the top musicians in the field are focused on releasing only the best music. Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer who is one of the artists who may yet put out a project in 2023, given the positive reviews and commercial success of his fifth studio album, “More Love, Less Ego.”
Fans are highly enthusiastic about what will come from the artist in 2023 after hearing a clip of his song with his official disc jockey and hypeman, DJ Tunez, on social media. Tunez has been teasing the fans with new music with Wiz for a while. In February, the superstar disc jockey and hypeman were spotted at a club grooving to another unreleased jam with Starboy. The short preview clip was filmed and shared by fellow hypeman Poco Lee, a gifted dancer.
However, while fans await the unreleased collaborations whose titles and release dates are yet to be announced, DJ Tunez has been on his grind, teaming up with creative producers for joint projects. The latest of such projects is “The Amexin,” a team-up with Kalu Daniel Onoh, popularly known as Amexin, a Nigerian singer and songwriter specializing in creating a blend of Afrobeat and folk music.
