Fleetwood United Football Players Celebrate With Kizz Daniel’s Hit Single

Players from Fleetwood United were seen showcasing their dance moves as they grooved to the song “Cough (Odo)” by Nigerian Afrobeats artist Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage name, Kizz Daniel. Although the song was first published as a single in 2022, it was included in the album Maverick, which was released in 2023.

The song blew up both in West Africa and globally. The hit song topped both local and international charts, and it came with a particular dance that fans all over the world reproduced. The man in charge of Fly Boy Entertainment, Ayere Sylvester, a Nigerian coach, was seen dancing to the song with a few players from Fleetwood United in a social media video that went viral.

Nigerian football fans on X (formerly Twitter) responded to the viral video with a lot of excitement. The team’s manager said they were enjoying winning three games in a row while sharing the video on his Instagram page. On a global scale, the former United FC U-14 coach has been making impressive strides.

He just agreed to a one-year contract to become the coach of Fleetwood United Football Club in Dubai, his first professional coaching gig. Following the successful release of Kizz Daniel’s “Buga” featuring Tekno, “Cough (Odo)” was produced by Blaise Beatz and distributed by Empire.
