Funke Akindele And Ex-Husband, JJC Skillz, Spotted Dancing Together At Movie Premiere
The Nollywood diva Funke Akindele and her ex-husband JJC Skillz reconnected on Wednesday at the premiere of “She Must Be Obeyed,” exactly a year and two months after their stunning divorce.
“She Must Be Obeyed,” a gripping five-part miniseries that delves into the mysterious world of stardom and secrets, premieres exclusively on Prime Video on September 29. Funke plays the major role. Three years before their divorce, the once-inseparable team produced the SceneOne Entertainment-produced television series.
They both launched SceneOne Production in 2016, and this seems to be their final significant project together. Despite being the parents of twin sons, JJC Skillz announced on social media in July 2022 that their six-year marriage had dissolved.
The couple was reunited at the ‘She Must be Obeyed’ premiere, which was attended by many Nollywood celebrities, including Femi Adebayo, Olumide Oworu, and Lateef Adedimeji. The unexpected reunion of the former power couple at the gala premiere of their most recent miniseries stunned fans and admirers.
The evening’s highlight was when JJC Skillz and Funke Akindele were seen on camera being really friendly to one another.
They wowed the audience with an unexpected dance and loving embrace, leaving them in amazement of their rekindled friendship.
