The much awaited global premiere of the Nigerian crime thriller “No Way Through,” which will be accessible exclusively on Amazon Prime Video this December, has been confirmed officially by Inkblot Productions.
Nollywood icons Funke Akindele, Chidi Mokeme, Chioma Chukwuka, Ikechukwu, Seun Ajayi, Jr. Pope, Eso Dike, Roberta Oroma, and former Big Brother contestants Sheggz Olusemo, and Nengi Adoki are among the all-star cast of the upcoming movie.
The survival story will speak specially to viewers who understand the bustle and grit of Lagos city and other dynamic, fast-paced cities across the world (for those that are well-travelled). “No Way Through,” directed by Chinaza Onuzo, Inkblot’s CEO, from his own screenplay, which is about the hazards involved in pursuing independence and the price of supporting a family.
The plot centers on Jolade Okeniyi, a single mother attempting to make ends meet. She serves as the driver for a local drug cartel, which is her main source of money. She is compelled to turn informant against the cartel after being apprehended by the authorities in order to keep herself and her daughter out of jail.
However, getting the necessary information can put them in danger of the lethal consequences of the vicious cartel. The three stars that make the film shine, Funke Akindele, Chidi Mokeme, and Chioma Chukwuka, all received warm recognition from the film’s director for their outstanding performances.
