Mohbad’s Management Clarifies The Debate Over The Singer’s Will

Mohbad, often referred to as Imole, was a Nigerian musician whose death is still clouded in mystery and controversy.

His management team recently posted a statement on his Instagram account that included a number of updates and clarifications to address persistent misunderstandings and miscommunications around his passing.

Released on January 15, 2024, a few months after Mohbad passed away, the statement stressed the need for continued collaboration with law enforcement to guarantee elucidation and resolution for all concerned parties.

It was disclosed that the Police authorities had carried out an inquiry and informed that it would take several months before the autopsy results from samples sent overseas were made public.

The statement also tackled spreading misleading information, denying, as mistakenly stated, the existence of a will or other document with thumbprints. It was highlighted that no members of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer had conveyed the existence of such a document to any member of the family or the public. It was requested in the statement that people not spread misinformation.

Furthermore disclosed by the Instagram managers, all accounts that Mohbad owned or controlled during his lifetime were placed on a Post No Debit order on September 12, 2023, and this order is still in effect. Post No Debit orders are limits placed on certain accounts by banks that prohibit users from making withdrawals, transfers, or any other debits from those accounts.
