Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing At A Time” Reclaims The Top Spot On The Billboard 200 For The 17th Week

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” returns to the top, rising 2-1 and earning its 17th nonconsecutive and total week at the top of the chart. According to Luminate, it sold 61,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week that ended on January 11 (a 4% decrease).

Since Adele’s 21 spent 24 nonconsecutive weeks at the top of the chart in 2011–12, “One Thing at a Time” has continued to enjoy the most weeks at No. 1 of all albums. The popular song topped the chart on March 18, 2023, and remained there for 12 weeks straight, until the beginning of June.

Then, in late June and early July, it topped the chart for three more weeks in a row. On the Oct. 14 chart, it recorded its 16th week at the top. Throughout its 45-week run on the chart, the album has never fallen below No. 6. “One Thing at a Time” concluded 2023 as the top album for Luminate and the No. 1 year-end Billboard 200 album.

The bestseller albums of the week in the United States are listed on the Billboard 200 chart, which is compiled by Luminate and based on multi-metric consumption expressed in equivalent album units. Track equivalent albums (TEA), album sales, and streaming equivalent albums (SEA) are all contained in the units.
