Oritsefemi’s Former Manager Dismisses The Singer’s Statements About Burna Boy And D’Banj

The former manager of Nigerian musician Oritsefemi, Ijoba Danku, has come forward to refute statements made by his boss about D’Banj and Burna Boy, two of his industry colleagues.

These accusations were first made public by Oritsefemi in an interview, however Danku has openly disputed them as untrue. Burna Boy was constrained by his mother’s influence, Oritsefemi had claimed in an earlier interview, so he sought solace at his residence. The singer further stated that she comforted Burna Boy in a time of need by telling him that he would become a great musician.

Moreover, Oritsefemi claimed to have helped fellow musician D’Banj sell a Prado Jeep. But in a special interview with Doyin’s Corner, Ijoba Danku categorically denied these allegations, calling them outright false. Danku reaffirmed his dedication to honesty and integrity in the business, saying he does not support dishonesty of any kind.

In the course of the interview, Danku talked about his previous partnership with vocalist Portable and expressed sorrow for the connection. He said that misleading information from Portable had been presented to him, which had left him feeling let down in their business interactions.

Oritsefemi had also claimed to be the godfather of his colleagues, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido. He claimed he had already made money from music before they rose to prominence and that he urged all three singers to make music.
