Rema Refers To Tekno As A “Legend”

Divine Ikubor, popularly called Rema, has given honor to whom it’s due. The Mavin and Jonzing World signee posted a picture of Afrobeats icon Tekno on his Twitter and tagged him as a “legend” in the post’s caption. Since we have known him as an artist, Remmy boy has always been that humble, free-spirited guy who would express himself however he saw fit, not caring a hoot what the public would think of his opinions.

Before making the post, he also took the time to appreciate young artists following their passion and just doing it even if they do not yet have all the streaming numbers and RIAA certifications. Divine implored his fans also to applaud folks in that category and not just the prominent Nigerian artists shaking up the international scene and attaining insane heights of accomplishments.

Tekno, on his part, is a big fan of Rema as he had done a cover of “Bad Commando” when it was released. He also gave Remmy boy his flowers and hailed him for creating such a unique sound. So, it’s no surprise that Rema would return the same love he was shown because what you give is what you eventually attract. Hopefully, both artists have “another banger” in the works.
