Rihanna Talks Personal Life, Music; Admits She’s A “Silent Troll” On Interview Magazine Sit-Down
Renowned singer and fashion entrepreneur Rihanna recently disclosed new details about her social media usage and personal life in a cover story for Interview Magazine. During the interview, the publication’s editor-in-chief and Rihanna’s former stylist, Mel Ottenberg, asked the singer about her “silent troll” persona and whether she missed her previous social media presence. Ottenberg expressly referred to a now-resolved 2011 Twitter feud between Rihanna and Ciara, in which Rihanna tweeted, “Good luck booking that stage you speak of,” amongst a host of other random tweets directed at Ciara, who also had a word or two for the Fenty boss.
Rihanna responded, “The troll in me had a time. Unfortunately, you can’t take anything back from the internet, so I will always have the reminders, but the best troll in me is the silent troll.”
Rihanna also touched upon her relationship with rapper ASAP Rocky, whom she has been dating since 2020. Although Rihanna did not divulge too many personal details, she revealed that she would like to have more children. She said, “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course, if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.” The couple welcomed their second son in August 2023. The Interview Magazine interview gave fans a rare glimpse into Rihanna’s life, her social media views, and her plans. It’s worth noting that the singer and Ciara have since made peace and apologized to each other.
