PartyNextDoor Admits His Love Life Affects His Music Making

PartyNextDoor, a famous Canadian singer-songwriter, has been making headlines for his recent comments on his love life and how it has impacted his music career. In a candid interview with Billboard, he revealed that his romantic relationships have been a significant distraction for him, causing a delay in the release of his fourth studio album. The R&B artist, whose real name is Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, explained how he struggled to balance his personal life with his creative pursuits. He admitted that he had not given his last two albums the attention they deserved and was determined to ensure his upcoming album received the care and dedication it needed to succeed.

Despite the delays, PartyNextDoor’s fans are eagerly awaiting the release of his fourth album, which promises to showcase his unique sound and style. The singer’s previous albums have garnered critical acclaim and a devoted following, and his upcoming release will surely be one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year. However, the star has a different perspective on his music.

“I get into relationships and then music becomes second. I think I’m going to take a break from relationships, a long break, and just get back to making music,”

“I was still handling that shit like demos,”

“[I wasn’t] using everything I learned as a producer, as a writer, as an engineer.”

During the interview, Party revealed that he experiences social anxiety before concerts.

“I have so much anxiety before a show, but I always tell my manager, ‘This is what I want to do for the rest of my life.’ I always forget that until I step on the stage,”  “I know Drake and people always tell me, ‘Bro, you have to come out more!’ I’m an introvert, I’m shy.”

Last week, the highly anticipated music video for Party’s 2023 track “Resentment (CCTV)” was finally released, and fans were on the edge of their seats. Along with the video, Party also shared a pre-save link for his upcoming project, PartyNextDoor Four, which has caused a lot of excitement and buzz among his fans. He assured everyone that there’s more to come “sooner than you know,” leaving them eagerly anticipating his future releases. Additionally, Party sparked much discussion on social media in December when he referred to himself as the “SoundCloud king,” which caused much controversy and debate among his fans and detractors.
