Tony Elumelu Interrupts DJ’s Playing Of “Billing” While Spyro Performs At His Event
Spyro, a popular performer, recently shared an entertaining clip of himself performing at an event organized by Nigerian billionaire and entrepreneur Tony Elumelu. Elumelu, his family, and friends were spotted in an upbeat mood while Spyro sang his hit song, Who Is Your Guy?
Elumelu also prevented the DJ from playing another song, Billing, which contains the lines ‘When Money No Dey,’ as he insisted on Spyro recording “Who Is Your Guy?”, which appeared to be his favorite. Spyro revealed in the description of the video posted on his Instagram page that the billionaire wanted him to perform the song more than thrice, expressing his thanks to Elumelu for inviting him.
Most social media users commented on Spyro’s post, stating the millionaire businessman couldn’t relate to some of the lines in Spyro’s “Billing.” Elumelu, it turns out, isn’t the only powerful wealthy man who enjoys Spryo’s viral hit. A few months ago, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu claimed that he is fond of the fast-rising star’s popular tune.
The popular governor startled many when he expressed his enthusiasm for Spyro’s song in a Twitter clip published by his senior special assistant on new media, Jubril Gawat. He continued, though, by saying that he was following the public’s trends and that he actually enjoyed the music.
