A video of the actress going from one wig to another while still playing in the same scene went viral.
The video has provoked various internet reactions, with many criticizing the film’s continuity manager and director for making such a huge goof. Wumi Toriola, on the other hand, has been praised for her seamless ability to keep the same facial emotion despite appearing in the same scenario at different times and with numerous takes.
Actress Mide Martins and her husband, movie producer Afeez Owo, have apologized profusely to their colleague, Wumi Toriola, for the accidental error following the uproar the video sparked on social media. The widely shared film elicited a range of responses. Some made fun of the continuity manager and director for the oversight, while others ridiculed the actor.
Wumi Toriola received an apology from the film’s producers, Mide Martins and Afeez Owo, who posted it on their Instagram page. They acknowledged it was an expensive mistake made by the production team during the editing process in a joint statement.
