Rapper Cory Gunz was born in The Bronx, New York City, on June 22, 1987. His real name is Peter Cory Pankey, Jr. He is the son of Peter Gunz, who makes up one half of the duo Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz. Gunz is signed to Universal Republic Records, Young Money Entertainment, Cash Money Records, and After Platinum Records, among others. He is Cassidy’s cousin and the nephew of the late Rapper DMX. Along with Begetz and M.O.P rappers, The Bloodhoundz was where Cory first rose to fame. Son of a Gun, his debut album, was released in 2009 after he later started a solo career.
