However, before releasing his debut studio album, “Gold,” in 2017, AG Baby, as he was more often known, inked a record label deal with YBNL Nation. His record company, Afro Urban Records, which he founded two years later, released two albums under his name: “Around 30” in 2018 and “Catch Me If You Can” in 2022. His debut album, Afro Pop, Vol. 1, was released in 2020 by EMI. But in June 2023, he’s scheduled to release a new record through Def Jam.
