ScHoolboy Q Wants Weekend Tours For New Album “Blue Lips”

ScHoolboy Q made a highly anticipated return by releasing his first new album in 5 years, “Blue Lips,” which received widespread critical acclaim. The album featured exciting guest appearances from artists like Freddie Gibbs, Rico Nasty, Ab-Soul, and more. Although a planned collaboration with A$AP Rocky didn’t materialize, fans of the record will finally have the opportunity to experience his live performances this summer. Breaking away from the traditional tour format, ScHoolboy Q announced a unique “weekends” tour. Over five straight weekends in July and August, he will play two or three shows across a weekend, totaling 11. This unconventional tour will make stops in various American cities and Toronto.

In addition to his musical endeavours, ScHoolboy Q has been teasing another new album slated for release in 2024. Earlier this month, he generated excitement by sharing his enthusiasm for a sneak preview of Vince Staples’ upcoming record, expressing high praise for its quality. As fans eagerly await the release of his new album, ScHoolboy Q also made a memorable appearance in a unique new episode of Kenny Beats’ “The Cave” series, where he delivered a captivating verse, leaving fans in awe as he joined the ranks of prominent MCs who have graced the studio with their talent.
