Ariana Grande Teams Up With Mariah Carey For “Yes, And?” Remix

On February 16, a remix of Ariana Grande’s smash hit song “Yes, And?” with Mariah Carey is scheduled to release.

After both singers clandestinely altered their Instagram profile photos to a photo of their eyes, Grande revealed the news early on Wednesday morning. Later, Grande posted a picture of herself and Carey along with a statement announcing their upcoming collaboration.

Carey and Grande previously worked together on Carey’s 2020 holiday release, “Oh Santa!,” which featured Jennifer Hudson as well. The song was featured in Carey’s “Magical Christmas Special” that same year.

“Yes, And?” is the lead single for Grande’s upcoming seventh studio album, “Eternal Sunshine,” which is scheduled for release on March 8. After being released in January, the song debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs list, making Grande the first artist in history to have the lead single from each of her seven albums debut in the Hot 100’s top 10.

Now that Carey is included, the song will undoubtedly gain momentum. It’s exciting and a little strange that Carey and Grande are working together on a remix of “Yes, And?” rather than something entirely new. Nowadays, it’s normal for well-known musicians to collaborate on songs and release them as joint ventures right away.
