Ariana Grande’s New Single “Yes, And?” Aims For Top Spot Debut On UK Chart

Ariana Grande fans have recently been “eating good”, even as their fav recently dropped a banger for their listening pleasure, and especially as a new album looms. Indeed, it’s no news that Ariana Grande’s latest song, “Yes, And?” is aiming for the top spot in the UK charts.

The latest release from the American pop sensation, who is signed to Republic Records, is currently at No. 2 on the midweek chart. This marks Grande’s 21st top 10 and 32nd top 40 appearance overall, including eight No. 1s. She last reached the top in 2020 with the release of “Rain On Me,” a joint song from her Positions album with Lady Gaga. According to the Official Charts Company’s midweek sales and streaming figures, the only thing standing in Grande’s way is Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” (Republic Records).

Following the holiday season, the smash song by the Vermont singer-songwriter made a strong chart comeback and is expected to stay at the top for a third straight week. The top two tracks in the early stages of the chart cycle were separated by less than 2,000 chart units, according to the OCC data.

It is predicted that Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 2001 disco single “Murder on the Dancefloor” (Polydor) will finish third, falling between two and three spots. Ever since it was featured in Emerald Fennell’s dark thriller Saltburn, “Murder” has been rapidly rising in sales and consumption rankings worldwide.
