BABYMONSTER Share New Sound On Single, ‘Stuck In The Middle’

The newly formed and exciting K-pop girl group Baby Monster has recently released their latest single, titled ‘Stuck in the Middle’. This new and refreshing single is sung entirely in English. It features a beautiful piano ballad, a clear departure from their previous hip-hop-driven pop song, ‘Batter Up’, which debuted in November 2023.

The single was announced on December 31, 2023, by Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of YG Entertainment, to whom the girl group is signed. At the time, Yang described the song as a game-changer and a fresh sound that YG Entertainment had never released. This announcement created much buzz and excitement among fans eagerly waiting for Baby Monster’s new release. BABYMONSTER’s seventh member, Ahyeon, is set to rejoin the girl group when they release their eagerly awaited debut album in April and is not cast in the new music video. The talented singer had initially been part of the line-up of Baby Monster but had to delay her debut due to health reasons. Her fans eagerly await her back on stage with her group members.

The music video for ‘Stuck in the Middle’ is a visual treat, showcasing Baby Monster performing the song in a grand mansion in the middle of the cosmos. The music video’s stunning visuals, choreography, and cinematography truly elevate the song to new heights.

 

Yang went on to talk about Baby Monster’s new song, saying,

“If I were to share my personal opinion about it, whenever I listen to this song, I close my eyes, it feels like being in a state of zero gravity in outer space,”

“The skills and unique colours of the members’ vocals make me want to focus on even the smallest breath, It makes me focus intensely when listening. I think it’s a song that can be described as ‘beautiful’.”
