Ballon d’Or Organizers Unveil 30-Man List For Men’s Player Of The Year 2023

The Ballon d’Or organizers have revealed the complete list of nominees for the 2023 Men’s Player of the Year award. The players’ names were announced on the organization’s official Twitter account on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. The announcement of the nominees is always highly anticipated by everyone involved in the sport, as it is the most prestigious award in the field. Benzema won the award for 2022, beating Messi and Mbappe to the crown.

Lionel Messi, a former Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona player, is the frontrunner for the Ballon d’Or award for a record-breaking eighth time. Messi led Argentina to a World Cup victory in Qatar in December, scoring seven goals, including two in the final, and earning the Golden Ball award.
